Our Make Anything Workshop is a beginner-friendly session designed to give you total creative freedom to bring your own ideas to life.
Whether you're brand new to pottery or just want an afternoon to experiment with handbuilding at your own pace, this workshop is for you. While it's an open-ended session, an experienced instructor is on-site the entire time to provide guidance, answer your questions, and offer hands-on help, tips, and tricks whenever you need them.
What’s Included & Guidelines:
Beginner-Friendly Support: Perfect for all skill levels, with an expert nearby to help troubleshoot techniques and guide your process.
Clay & Tools: Each participant receives 2 lbs of clay and access to studio tools.
Piece Limits: Participants are limited to making a maximum of 2 pieces out of the provided clay.
Size Guidelines: Please aim for a moderate, balanced scale. Avoid extreme sizes on both ends - no overly tiny trinkets (which can easily get lost) and no massive or bulky pieces that won't dry or fire properly in the kiln.
Finishing Options:
Included in your workshop fee, we will dip-glaze your finished piece(s) in one studio dip glaze colour of your choosing.
Want to get more creative with your colours? You can opt to return to the studio to self-paint your piece(s) for an additional $10.

Cancellation, Missed Class & Refund Policy
To allow for proper scheduling, staffing, and material preparation, the following policy applies to all bookings:
Single-Session Workshops & Family Events • Full payment is required at the time of booking. • Cancellations made 5 or more days in advance will receive a full refund, less a $10 administrative fee. • Cancellations made with less than 5 days’ notice are non-refundable.
Late Arrival Sessions begin promptly to ensure a smooth studio experience for all participants. Guests arriving more than 10 minutes late may be unable to join once the session is underway. Sessions cannot be extended, and refunds are not provided for late arrivals.
Additional Information • Refunds are issued to the original form of payment. • Mira Pottery Studio reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a session due to low enrolment or unforeseen circumstances. If this occurs, participants will receive a full refund or studio credit.
