Cancellation Policy

Sunday Evening Student Drop-In Sunday Evening Student Drop-In gives current and recently finished students dedicated studio time to practise skills, finish class projects, and keep making between classes. Program Details When: Sundays, 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM Cost: $30 per session Booking: Advance booking through the website is required. Eligibility: Current multi week students, plus students for up to 6 Sundays after their final class. Studio Use Drop-in is independent, uninstructed studio time. You are welcome to work on your own projects, but please stick to techniques, equipment, and materials you have already been taught to use. For example, if you have only learned single dip glazing, please don't experiment with multi dip glazing without an instructor first. Use the studio and equipment responsibly. Failure to follow studio guidelines may result in losing access to Sunday drop-in. Work Storage All Sunday drop-in work must be clearly labelled and stored on the designated shelves. We use the same three shelf rotation for both greenware and bisque work: Shelf 1 → Shelf 2 → Last Call If you don't return to work on a piece by the following Sunday, it moves to the next shelf. Last Call is your final opportunity to finish or submit your work for firing. Anything remaining after the following Sunday session will be reclaimed or disposed of. The shelf your work is on tells you how much time you have left, so please keep an eye on your pieces and plan accordingly. Clay You may use any remaining clay from your multi week class. 4 week students: 10 lb of pre wedged clay, portioned into 1 lb balls, is available for $25. Additional standard bags of studio clay are available for purchase during drop-in. Only studio approved clay may be used. A New Program This is a new program for us, so we'll be paying attention to how the schedule, shelf system, and studio flow work in practice. We may make adjustments as we go to make the program work as well as possible for both students and the studio. We'll keep everyone updated if anything changes.
